This belt is handmade from cowhide and it is covered with 12 decorated brass plaques 5 x 4 cms. (2″ x 1.5″ each)).

Belts that have tassels on them were often seen during fighting in Roman times. The belts were constructed of leather and had brass adornments.

These beautiful belts will remind one of the belts worn by Roman warriors. Anyone who collects military items or is a history buff will love one of these belts. If a person dresses up in Roman clothes, these belts would fit right in.

Note:-Reconstruction of a Roman cingulum worn by legionaries. The belt is from leather with typical roman brass fittings.
